Sorry for delay in my reply. Good to know that it is already being
addressed.

I don't know of any replacement, unfortunately. I would also be
interested in them, I was looking for free GM drums for the FreePats 2.0
sound bank, and I can assert that it is quite difficult to find anything
actually created from original content. Some of them carry a free
license, but when closely inspected their content is in the same
situation than this one, or worse :/

I will try to help by recording a few new original samples, can you
please point me to the correct upstream contact or mailing list?
