Since you are running stretch, I'm guessing you have easytag 2.4.3-1

There is this major bug related to OGG file handling in easytag:

 https://bugs.debian.org/855251

This doesn't sound exactly the same though. In the above bug, editing
ogg files can corrupt them. For you, do the ogg files change at all?
Does ogginfo (from the vorbis-tools package) report that the tags have
been deleted or any other errors?
