​more investigation ...​

lib-src/sbsms/libsbsms.spec.in
​ says "version 2.0.2"​ ...
I've tried build audacity successfully against internal libsbsms and I
forced (by patch) build against system-wide libsms 2.0.2
which failed.
Comparing both libs in Meld showing that internal one is modified ... by
audacity developers I guess.

Benjamin as you have done some commits in audacity upstream can you shed
some light on this please?

​Is sbsms still developed?​ Or it is living own life in audacity?
