I think you’re confused ;-)

This is backports-NEW, not unstable-NEW. I uploaded 2.1 to
stretch-backports as discussed in the MuseScore IRC channel,
and tvaz agreed I can comaintain this.

Because that’s something that can only be done in an update
in sid or experimental. (I’d also have to research a few things
for that, given that I’m new at MuseScore maintenance, and my
focus is a number of bugfixes at the moment, asides from ensuring
our users get updates in reasonable time so upstream can cease
endorsing AppStream images.)
