Package: ffmpeg
Version: 7:3.2.10-1~deb9u1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
I tried to convert dsf file to flac with ffmpeg.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
It looks like there is a noisy part at the end of some flac file.
Steps to reproduce:
1/ download from http://www.lindberg.no/hires/test/2L-125_stereo-11289k-1b_04.dsf.zip
2/ extract archive
3/ run ffmpeg command : ffmpeg -i "2L-125_stereo-11289k-1b_04.dsf" -acodec flac -ar 96000 "2L-125_stereo-11289k-1b_04.flac"
4/ play the flac file or open it with audacity (some flac player are playing a noisy 'clac' at the end of file like deadbeef, some don't)
I'm not sure the bug is from ffmpeg, but probably because two softwares have seen that noise
maybe related :

Regards,
Serge
* What was the outcome of this action?
no outcome at the moment
* What outcome did you expect instead?
a proper flac file
