Dear dbrz (would be nice to have a real name to answer to),

the turbulences in your system that you described may be
caused by the fact that your jackd2 package (and maybe
others too?) is/are not from Debian but from kxstudio. 

Debian has 1.9.12~dfsg-2 in unstable and testing and
1.9.10+20150825git1ed50c92~dfsg-5 in stable. The
kxstudio-guys set an epoch 2 to their package version, which
makes their version always higher and preferred. But this
version depends on libreadline6 while in Debian since
stretch there's only libreadline7.

So the easiest way to fix this would be to downgrade to
jackd2 from stable if you are running stable. 

And you should consider to replace all packages from
kxstudio with the ones from Debian. In most cases it's not
the best idea to mix up distributions.
