Package: i965-va-driver
Version: 2.0.0+dfsg1-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

hardware video encoding to h264, hevc, vp8 and vp9 leads to a GPU hang
on KBL.
Mpeg2 encoding is possible.
Works with i965_drv_video.so built from git master.

   * What led up to the situation?
I tried to encode a video with ffmpeg using vaapi.
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
	ffmpeg -vaapi_device /dev/dri/renderD128 -i test-in.mkv \
	-c:v h264_vaapi test-out.mkv
   * What was the outcome of this action?
	From dmesg:
		[359448.285065] i915 0000:00:02.0: Resetting rcs0 after gpu hang
		[359457.277061] i915 0000:00:02.0: Resetting rcs0 after gpu hang
		[359466.269015] i915 0000:00:02.0: Resetting rcs0 after gpu hang
		[359475.261057] i915 0000:00:02.0: Resetting rcs0 after gpu hang
		[359480.285171] i915 0000:00:02.0: Resetting vcs0 after gpu hang
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
   		A hardware encoded video file.
