i fail to see how the latter can be true.
frei0r is a C-only API, the frei0r.hpp header is only a convenience wrapper.
so it doesn't have any extra "functionality" (but of course, it provides
extra convenience ;-))

given that the frei0r README.md uses the C++-header in its inline
example, i guess it's appropriate to include this header.

would you mind reporting the issue yourself? ideally with a PR, so the
