The Gauteng story is captured in the infographics summarising our journey from a painful and divided past to a more promising and inclusive future.

Although we have achieved a lot, much more needs to be done by the government and all stakeholders to address unemployment and poverty, provide more people with housing and land, drastically reduce crime and improve the quality of public health services.

As the sixth Premier of Gauteng, I know full well that we would not have made the progress that we have made without the invaluable contribution of ethical public servants and conscientious service providers.

I, therefore, take this opportunity to convey my gratitude to you all for contributing to the marked improvement in the quality of life of Gauteng residents.

I call on you to continue to serve the people of Gauteng diligently and ethically, as we face the future with confidence, inspired by the spirit of resilience and excellence.
