Drumstick MIDI Monitor - kmidimon

Hi,

This is to inform you that Drumstick MIDI Monitor (aka kmidimon) is near to the 1.3.0 
release in a few days. 

This is a new release using the name "Drumstick MIDI Monitor", with Qt 5 or Qt 6 and 
Drumstick 2 dependencies. The executable and package names will remain the same: 
"kmidimon" as before.
 
Some changes:

*  "MIDI Thru on MIDI Output" checkbox on the Connections dialog. When checked, the 
recorded events are also sent to MIDI OUT. 
*  "Text Encoding" combobox moved from the Preferences dialog to the toolbar. Enabled 
switching text encodings on the fly, without reloading the SMF file.
* Several fixes.

This package was included for many years in Debian, but then was removed for some 
reason in 2019. I've noticed that there is still a copy on the Git repository.

This message is just to tell you that the project is still being maintained and developed by 
the author, but Debian users rely on alternative ways to install it on their machines.
