For salsa you can:
- Join #debian-multimedia - all commits are sent there.
- Subscribe to a package on tracker.d.o and enable the "vcs" keyword.

I remember trying this before, but tracker won't let me join the team

As a side note, I am not sure if new packages are automagically
added to the tracker team (using the maintainer email address), or
they have to be added manually.<br>
<br>
If automatic, we need to take care of the email address associated
to the team in tracker.debian.org. Didn't we agree to use
<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:debian-multimedia@lists.debian.org">debian-multimedia@lists.debian.org</a> for packages now (instead of
opting into the new debian.net alioth migration list)? If so,
tracker should be updated eventually, as it lists the old
<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org">pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org</a> maintainer
