Any help is appreciated :-) I cannot find your name among the Debian
Developers or on the list of New Maintainers yet. Have you done any
work for Debian before? The next maintainer would have to do a transition
from mysql 5.0 to 5.1 and closely watch for ABI changes in libmysqlclient
which requires at least a little bit of experience.
