About the MySQL 5.0 packages which should be replaced by the new 5.1 branch
as soon as possible. The transition should be quite easy though, most
programs (and as of yesterday also PHP5) build without problems against
libmysqlclient-dev (5.1.x).

If you sign on at alioth.debian.org I add you to the admin group. Then you
have SVN write access and can submit patches or upload new packages.
