Package: mysql-client-5.0
Version: 5.0.32-7etch5
Severity: normal
Hello,
We are enrolling the public certificates of our certificate authorities
within /etc/ssl/certs directory.
MySQL provides a parameter --ssl-capath to specify the directory
containing the trusted SSL CA certificates. But both the command client
as well as the server (if option is specified in my.cnf) abort with the
following message on startup:
unki at host:~$ mysql --ssl-capath /etc/ssl/certs -h mysql-host
mysql: coding.cpp:243: void TaoCrypt::Base64Decoder::Decode(): Assertion
`endLine == '\n'' failed.
Aborted
The current lenny version (5.0.51a-6) does not have this problem - it
seems to be already fixed there.
Probably this is related to this:
