Hi,

I did an upgrade from lenny to testing and I did not have
mysql-server installed, when i tried to install, i got

Setting up mysql-server-5.0 (5.0.51a-24) ...
 * Stopping MySQL database server mysqld
   ...done.
invoke-rc.d: initscript mysql, action "stop" failed.
 * Starting MySQL database server mysqld
   ...done.
invoke-rc.d: initscript mysql, action "start" failed.

(hangs at this point)

^Cdpkg: error processing mysql-server-5.0 (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script killed by signal (Interrupt)

I do not know what happens, but I also tried with postgresql and I had
same issue

Setting up postgresql-8.3 (8.3.7-1) ...
 * Starting PostgreSQL 8.3 database server
   ...done.
invoke-rc.d: initscript postgresql-8.3, action "start" failed.
dpkg: error processing postgresql-8.3 (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 mysql-server-5.0
 postgresql-8.3
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Now, i have a system to be fixed or upgrade it to unstable? :-/

Cheers
