Package: mysql-server
Version: 5.0.51a-24+lenny1
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
In trying to diagnose temporary table creation problems, the following patch from Percona Labs is very useful, as described here:
http://www.mysqlperformanceblog.com/2008/09/22/finding-what-created_tmp_disk_tables-with-log_slow_filter/
The latest patch is here:
http://www.percona.com/mysql/5.0.84-b18/patches/microslow_innodb.patch
There doesn't seem to be one for 5.0.51 or 5.1 so this would mean porting, but I think this would be very useful.
