Package: mysql-server-5.0
Version: 5.0.75-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

When a quotation mark (") is used in the root password, the postinst fails:

    Setting up mysql-server-5.0 (5.0.75-1) ...
ERROR: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the
manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right
syntax to use near 'st") WHERE user='root'' at line 1
    090105 15:16:40 [ERROR] Aborting

This bug is also filed in Ubuntu[1].

Regards,
Ansgar
