Package: mysql-dfsg-5.1
Version: 5.1.34-1
Severity: normal
Tags: patch

In Ubuntu, we've applied the attached patch to achieve the following:

    - debian/mysql-server-5.1.mysql.init:
+ Clearly indicate that we do not support running multiple instances
of mysqld by duplicating the init script.
        (closes: #314785, #324834, #435165, #444216)
+ Properly parameterize all existing references to the mysql config
        file (/etc/mysql/my.cnf).

This is a patch that is actually coming from the 5.0 mysql init script
and hasn't been included in the 5.1 init script. We thought you might be
interested in doing the same.
