[debian-mysql] preparing spu version for long standing fixes

hi folks, long time no commit :)

i'm doing a small bit of work to close the longstanding dummy-thread
race condition bugs (#524366, #513204) and the GIS fix (#477072) both
of which have been sitting neglected in their own branch for quite
some time.

so, this is my plan of action:

* merge latest security (5.0.51a-24+lenny2) onto the s-p-u branch
* prepare/build/tag/upload s-p-u version (5.0.51a-24+lenny2+spu1)
* merge s-p-u changes onto security branch as unreleased.

any objections?
