[debian-mysql] Bug#609592: Any updates on this?

Hi dear bug and maintainer,

I was hoping to run MySQL 5.5, and noticed that there is even an 
(UNOFFICIAL) source package here: 
http://people.debian.org/~nobse/mysql-5.5/mysql-5.5_5.5.13-2.dsc

Is there a reason this isn't in Debian? If it, for example, needs certain 
kinds of testing, I could work on that.

Let me know how I can help push this forward.
