But it seems to me that the client part of mysql should use the current uid instead of the login account when it connects to the server.
And what is bothering me is this different behaviour between mysql-5.1 and mysql-5.5.
this should affect other package. Is it an expected change ?

Ps: Indeed I could hardcode the login in the tango package but it seems to me that this is a bad idea.
the system administrator should decide of the login account and put it in a config file.
