I'm CCing Mateusz, which worked on the package too, and replied to my mail a
couple of days ago.

It would be *awesome* if you both could co-maintain it. So, before reviewing
it, would you please contact each other, write a couple of mails/talk on
IRC[/talk in front of a beer :)] and decide what I should review? :)

(it would really be unpolite if both of you worked on the same package, and I
upload one version without even looking at the other one)

Probably, but they haven't showed any interest recently, AFAICT.
I suggest you to use collab-maint, if you don't succeed in joining/contacting
pkg-mysql.
