Hi Bjoern. There are a couple of packages that just won't work with MySQL
5.5, and there is a major issue which is that the current build process
offers no way I can see to force the mysql client programs to not be
statically linked. So the transition probably still needs a little more
work before its pushed fully.

I plan to solve this and start the "official" transition into unstable
next week. I must apologize for my lack of process knowledge, but I
plan to work on this with a few of my canonical colleagues next week
and hopefully ask them for sponsorship as I'll be colocated with them
in Budapest.
