I'll try a more formal approach to the release team than just CC'ing them.
Also I would appreciate your view on #512964. Once we are past this
upgrade I intend to apply it - unless someone objects. If the consensus
moves against it I would tag it wontfix.
Also I intend to offer an opinion on #590905 that you will certainly
want to comment on.
