Package: mysql-client-5.5
Version: 5.5.23-2
Severity: important

programs like mysql and mysqldump seem to need the directory and fail if it
doesn't exist with:

mysql: Can't read dir of '/etc/mysql/conf.d/' (Errcode: 2)
Fatal error in defaults handling. Program aborted

regards, michael
