I agree with Akhil. At first glance, it seems these aren't for 5.6. We'll
evaluate that when a fix is ready.

I can see that ... I've finally found som time to try to install the
packages from your repo, but the postinst script always fails. I've tried
both upgrading from 5.5 and a fresh 5.6 install, with and without setting
passwords.
Unfortunately, I haven't had time yet to find the root of the problem, but
the installation always stops here:
+ /usr/bin/mysqladmin --no-defaults -u root shutdown
/usr/bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
error: 'Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)'
