[debian-mysql] Status of MariaDB?

Hello,

I was just wondering: since Oracle isn't directly the perfect
Debian-citizen, are there any plans to include MariaDB in Debian or
some day perhaps even replace MySQL if/when Oracle makes it
freedom-incompatible?
