Solved:

nano /etc/logrotate.d/mysql-server


/var/log/mysql.log /var/log/mysql/log-slow-queries.log {
  	su #new line work
        daily
        rotate 7
        

test 1: 

sudo /etc/cron.daily/logrotate

test 2:

#mysql_upgrade --force -u root -p
