This is great news Ondřej. I have appreciated the work you've done for
PHP in the past. You seem to have an appetite for imperfect but popular
web app components. :)

Fantastic. Please reach out to Nicholas Bamber (periapt at debian.org)
and try to coordinate with him. He had started this, but I believe we
need to reboot his efforts a bit as he tied the migration to a very
large change set he was working on.

Let's get onto git with the current repository first, and then we can
look at merging in Nicholas's changes.
