Hi Team
Having worked on various bits of MySQL packaging over the last few
months, it occurs to me that we are sucking a bit with consistent
naming of repositories.
How about we agree to name repositories inline with source package
names? For example:
mariadb-5.5 -> git://git.debian.org/git/pkg-mysql/mariadb-5.5.git
(currently pkg-mariadb.git)
mysql-5.6 -> git://git.debian.org/git/pkg-mysql/mysql-5.6.git
(currently pkg-mysql.git)
percona-xtradb-cluster-5.5 ->
git://git.debian.org/git/pkg-mysql/percona-xtradb-cluster-5.5.git
Should make things a bit easier to discover.
Thoughts?
Cheers
James
