[debian-mysql] MariaDB Debian packaging status

Hello!

The upload of MariaDB 5.5.35 and MySQL 5.6 into Debian a few weeks ago
made a few issues surface, which we with James have been working on
since. I was however already fairly confident that the current status
of packaging of MariaDB 5.5.35 is pretty good, so I went ahead and:

- Updated https://github.com/ottok/mariadb-5.5 to 5.5.36. It's synced
to alioth and waiting for James to review/upload.

- Started working on https://github.com/ottok/mariadb-10.0 by manually
merging stuff from my 5.5.36/debian/* There is no alioth repo yet,
I'll first need to confirm that everything builds ok (live build
results at http://labs.seravo.fi/~otto/mariadb-repo/?C=M;O=D)

- Started working on https://github.com/ottok/mariadb-galera-5.5 by
manually merging stuff from my 5.5.36/debian/* and built the
mariadb-galera-server-5.5 packages, but it also depends on the
separate 'galera' package which seems like a trickier thing to
package, as current deb building scripts in their source are really
weird and on a high level undocumented

- There is also a repo https://github.com/ottok/mariadb-galera-10.0
waiting, but I will not do the manual merge thing until MariaDB 10.0
and Galera 5.5.36 are done.

All in all, there is lots of MariaDB in the pipeline and any help from
other maintainers to polish current MariaDB 5.5.35 will greatly
appreciated (and will flow forward to three other source packages as
well!).
