[debian-mysql] Bug#746737: /etc/init.d/mysql: may show "starting...FAIL" when started successfully

Package: mysql-server-5.5
Version: 5.5.37-1
Severity: normal

After unclean shutdown mysql may be starting slower than usual due to
recovery. Yet sometimes on start "/etc/init.d/mysql" show

"Starting MySQL database server: mysqld . . ..FAIL"

even when mysql started successfully. Hence startup check is incorrect and
shall be improved.
