Here's me trying to migrate from MySQL to MariaDB:

  Unpacking mariadb-server-10.0 (10.0.14-4) ...
  dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/mariadb-server-10.0_10.0.14-4_i386.deb (--unpack):
   trying to overwrite '/usr/share/man/man1/mysql_plugin.1.gz', which is also in package mysql-client-5.5 5.5.40-1


I'll let you figure out which combination of Conflicts/Breaks/Replaces
is appropriate in this case.  :)
