Thanks for the extra log you sent in another message. In your piuparts
install the failure line is 204 in the mariadb-server-10.0.postinst
script. I haven't been able to reproduce it on a sid virtual machine,
but I'll keep trying still a few things.

I am however quite sure that you should not add any extra "exit 0"
anywhere, as this is not an init script problem and the mariadb init
script has been fixed since December anyway.
