5.5.44-0+deb8u1 will be removed from unstable shortly. It is not in
testing. See bug #811158. It is superseded by src:mysql-5.6, and I built
that successfully the other day.

If you're filing for stable, then please re-test against 5.5.46-0+deb8u1
which is currently in s-p-u/stable-sec. I don't see how 5.5.44-0+deb8u1
makes sense for this bug, as we couldn't change that anyway.
