[debian-mysql] About ftp-master processes and #817263: mariadb-10.0 removed from unstable

Hello Andreas and ftp-masters!

First, thanks to Andreas for looking after the mariadb-10.0 package
and helping with it.

However, please note that your bug report #817263 did not reach the
maintainers/uploaders of the mariadb-10.0 package and we had no idea
that you where requesting cruft removal in parallel with our work.
Please next time make sure the bug report is CC'd to
mariadb-10.0 at p.b.o or some equivalent address.

The original plan was to wait until the package renaming/refactoring
process was complete and then file the removal of all correct packages
in one go. It would have been nice to have a chance to discuss this
earlier and not just find out things after the fact when somebody else
did something different, unnecessary and potentially even harmful.

Scott and other FTP-masters: please check with package
maintainers/uploaders before executing any kind of small or large
removal requests from non-maintainers.

Andreas: we appreciate your help and QA work and we want you to help
us in the future too. Please just remember to send an e-mail or file a
bug against the package so that maintainers can review things the next
time - do not execute upload or "unupload" actions on your own before
consulting maintainers first. Thanks!
