Package: mariadb-server-10.0
Version: 10.0.28-0+deb8u1

Quack,

After a reboot I found Mariadb stopped with the following logs:

Nov 22 07:52:15 Toushirou mysql[1202]: Starting MariaDB database server:
mysqld . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
failed!
Nov 22 07:52:15 Toushirou systemd[1]: mysql.service: control process
exited, code=exited status=1
Nov 22 07:52:15 Toushirou systemd[1]: Failed to start LSB: Start and
stop the mysql database server daemon.
Nov 22 07:52:15 Toushirou systemd[1]: Unit mysql.service entered failed
state.
Nov 22 07:52:23 Toushirou mysqld[2860]: 161122 7:52:23 [Note]
/usr/sbin/mysqld: ready for connections.
Nov 22 07:52:23 Toushirou mysqld[2860]: Version:
'10.0.28-MariaDB-0+deb8u1' socket: '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' port:
3306 (Debian)

So it seems it took a bit more time than expected and was then
considered a failure. Problem is the systemd status is wrong, so it can
impact starting up other services.

I guess the solution would be to implement the systemd service
configuration, but in the meanwhile you could consider increasing a bit
the timeout.

Regards.
