[debian-mysql] Test failures ignored during build

Hi,

Yes, the test failures used to be ignored on certain platforms (everything except i386 and amd64), but now they are ignored on those two platforms as well, which should not have test failures. Maybe there were bigger issues with the mtr suite in 5.6.19.
In this particular case it's a bug in the test which should be fairly simple to fix, but I suggest we also change it back so test failures cause build failures on i386 and amd64.

as far as I remember back in these days this was a blocker to get the pkg working at all.
Imho several tests will fail as debian is offering much more platforms then oracle does, but I guess we'll have to figure that out and maybe disable testcases per platform?

Hi,

This commit
https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-mysql/mysql-5.6.git/commit/?h=d195aba285ccf7eb182086307a47100658c60a14
changed the build to ignore all test failures regardless of platform.
It doesn't really explain why. Was there any discussion about this on
the list? There's not a whole lot of point in running the tests if the
result is just ignored, and they've been failing during build but not
dep8 for at least the last couple of upstream 5.7 releases.
