[debian-mysql] Backporting MySQL?

Hi, Dominic,

As noted in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=841049 the 
Oracle critical patch update for October will list CVE's that affect 
MySQL 5.6 prior to 5.6.34.

We mention in the changelog at 
https://dev.mysql.com/doc/relnotes/mysql/5.6/en/news-5-6-34.html that 
there is an incompatible change, which will require some packaging 
changes. The update changes the server to only allow import/export 
operations in /var/lib/mysql-files (as the default setting), so the 
packaging will need to create this directory.

We can provide a packaging patch for jessie-backports once the CVE list 
is available, so you can upload, if that's ok with you?
