Obviously not. If you say in the title "libmysqlcppconn7v5 version 1.1.4-2 crash Libreoffice Base", why are you filing this against 1.1.3-7 which supposedly
doesn't crash?

I've seen various crashes with stuff *newer* than 1.1.4, that's why they
are in experimental and stuck there.

Thus I actually knew that problem and that's why I tested Base and did a
connection test (with auth), which worked.

Though "of course" in unstable and before uploading 1.1.4-1.

Are you sure the above is caused my libmysqlcppconn7v5 and not some other
update you did, too? (Even though you said a dowgrade works?)

But yeah, the bad quality of MySQL Connector/C++ is a problem. For example,
some people I asked at the MySQL Maintainers even were not able to reproduce
the crashes with 1.1.5/1.1.6/1.1.7, and Ubuntu ships it, too...
