[debian-mysql] updating mysql-5.6 in sid?

Hi,

I'll take a look at the build failure. I've updated the unstable packages for 5.6.34 before and built and tested them (though the metapackage issue blocked the update), so it should build fine.
The upcoming January CPU will list fixes for 5.6.35, so I'll look at updating to that as well (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/security-advisory/cpujan2017-2881727.html).

Thanks for the updates to make the packaging work with src:mysql-5.7 present. As you say, we plan to remove mysql-5.6, but don't know when all the dependencies on 5.6 will be cleared away.
