Hi Daniele,

I'm not sure why you've filed this bug in Debian. Should it not be on
Launchpad as you're running an Ubuntu system? Or have you verified that
this issue affects Debian also?

I don't understand how you got to this situation. Please can you provide
exact steps to reproduce the problem on a fresh system? How do you "have
mysql not on boot-up" - what files have you changed exactly, and what
commands have you run to do this?

By "i get this error everytime": every time you do what exactly?

By "and it's impossible to update the package itself", what commands are
you typing to update the package itself, and what happens when you try
that causes you to deem it impossible?

You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively"

Thanks,

Robie
