Package: libmariadb2
Version: 2.3.2
Severity: normal

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
This library often aborts a program, using this library with the option
MYSQL_OPT_RECONNECT, in the same time of reconnecting to the remote DB
server.

I have seen a note about problems with the option MYSQL_OPT_RECONNECT in
the library source code but I think its developers must block this
function in whole or make it work properly, especially if this problem
into the deadlocking try, what can be done by the recursive locking.

I have several crash-reports of the program in code of this library, but
their are usefulness since of missing the debuginfo package to this
library into the standard repositories of Debian.
