Hello!
Over the last few weeks I have properly migrated the latest
state-of-the-art so to say packaging done in mariadb-10.1 to the
latest major release from upstream mariadb-10.3.
This is published at
https://salsa.debian.org/mariadb-team/mariadb-10.3/
and I hope you could now help me with ironing out any remaining bugs and issues.
Currently the biggest issue I have is build failures.
My test builds on my own machne pass fine, and so do the test builds
on Launchpad:
https://launchpad.net/~mysql-ubuntu/+archive/ubuntu/mariadb-10.3/+builds?build_text=&build_state=all
However the Salsa-CI builds fail to even start, even though the
Salsa-CI gitlab.yml is identical to the working one I engineered for
and used in mariadb-10.1:
https://salsa.debian.org/mariadb-team/mariadb-10.3/-/jobs/93587
Also, the builds on Debian fail complete. The build of the binary
passes, but all tests fail as if the binary was completely broken:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=mariadb-10.3&suite=experimental
Any helping hands would be appreciated!
Patches on Salsa is the easiest for of contributions to review and
accept. See details at https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/MySQL/patches
