[debian-mysql] 10.3 MariaDB update?

With MariaDB Server being out for about a year and a half (April 2017) and stable/preferred since May 2018, as well as including key features such as JSON support (10.2.x), compression, and more, is a MariaDB 10.3 packaging update in the works?
I see https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=891641 where it was stated that 10.3 would be packaged and 10.2 should be removed, but no progress has been made on 10.3 since (still showing an old alpha version).
With 10.3 stable and the supported GA branch, should we not be packaging it so it gets lots of testing for inclusion in buster?
