I cannot keep a system that does not properly shutdown so I removed it. 
The only dependency I had on it is experimental
akonadi-backend-mysql. I do not use database on this system and
mysql was pulled due to broken dependency on akonadi-backend-sqlite

Before that I removed everyting with a purge and reinstalled. No change. 
You have another report that says mariadb does crash and becomes 
irresponsive and that there is no dbg files.

Removing it is not even possible simply I had to hack prerm file to not 
do the stop...
