Package: mariadb-server-10.1
Version: 10.1.41-0+deb9u1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

on a replication slave, after upgrade from 10.1.38 to 10.1.41 in Debian
9.11 slave status remains in state "Slave_IO_Running: Preparing" after
successful connect. I'd expect it to change to "Yes" after connecting.

And, mysqld cannot be shut down or stopped. I had to kill -ABRT.

Downgrade to 10.1.38 resolved the problem.
