Another thought:
Some internet boxes do not let you use a local DNS resolver, it happened
to me with the Unbound resolver and Vodafone Italia.

I would suggest trying with some public DNS like quad9 (9.9.9.9) or your
Internet provider DNS.

Anyway, if this is related to the host DNS system or a network issue,
there is nothing that we can do here and it may not be related to
MariaDB.
