This GitHub account [1] contains a bunch of MySQL UDF that could be
tweaked to work on MariaDB. Actually, the reason I ask is that I'm
myself interested in developing UDFs for my $dayjob. Just wanted to know
that I am not spending time on something so hackish that would be
forbidden by team policy in Debian. By the way, packaging UDFs for
Debian would raise a namespace issue, as both core and user-defined
functions fall in the same space.
