Hello!

Indeed, the man mysqld (or man mariadbd) page is very brief. The
reason is probably because it is maintained manually, while the
`mysqld --verbose --help` prints out an automatic listing of all
config options.

Debian packagers don't maintain the man pages. I suggest you file this
issue upstream (e.g. https://jira.mariadb.org/) and champion it there.
